Totti had a great season for his club this time but Serie A’s highest scorer, since the World Cup had shown no real signs of returning to the international side. So this move comes as no real surprise to me or to anyone who follows Italian soccer. His sour relationship with Coach Danadoni could be one reason though,it’s difficult to comment on what actually went wrong – has Totti lost passion to play for the world champions or is it a sort of internal politics in the squad that’s kept Totti of the hocks. I however, bid adieu to Italy’s greatest sensation.
